Vasanthabalan recovers from COVID-19; pens a heartfelt note thanking friends and doctors

Filmmaker Vasanthabalan, who was severely affected by COVID-19 and admitted to a hospital recently, has returned home after recovering from the illness. 

Thanking his doctors, friends, well-wishers, the Jail filmmaker wrote a heartfelt note on his social media accounts. In the note, he explained his struggle with the coronavirus and how he found help at the right time and from the right quarters to fight back the illness. 

Earlier, his touching note about his interaction with filmmaker Lingusamy at the hospital went viral. 

Vasanthabalan, who is currently working on a film starring Arjun Das in the lead, and looking forward to the release of GV Prakash-starrer Jail, has been advised to return to work only after a month's rest.
