Jacob Elordi (The Kissing Booth, Euphoria) has been roped in to star as the lead in Parallel, an action thriller with a grounded sci-fi conceit and an intense love story. Produced by Legendary, the film will be directed by Tom Green (Misfits) with a screenplay written by Steve Lightfoot. 

According to Deadline, Parallel takes place in a world where parallel versions of our reality are accessible, though unknown to most – and to visit them is illegal. There is no information available about the role Elordi will play in the film. 

Meanwhile, the actor is all set to reprise his role in the upcoming third season of The Kissing Booth on Netflix, as well as the second season of HBO's Euphoria.

Director Green’s other credits include Blackout, Monsters: Dark Continent, and Kiss Me First.
