Shashi Satam, Jackie Shroff’s make-up man of 37 years, passes away

Jackie Shroff mourned the demise today of Shashi Dada, his make-up man for 37 years. 

Shashi Satam was a veteran make-up artist who started out in the 80s. He worked on Subhash Ghai’s iconic Karz (1980), and with Jackie on films like Mera Jawab, Hero, Teri Meherbaniyan, Kaash, Parinda, 1942: A Love Story, and others. He was Jackie's make-up man throughout the 90s and 2000s.

His last credited work on IMDb is the 2005 film Kyon Ki, co-starring Jackie and Salman Khan. 

“Shashi dada will always be in the deepest corner of my heart. My make-up person for 37 years passed away," the actor wrote. Jackie’s wife Ayesha Shroff also paid tribute to Shashi.
