During a Twitter Spaces interaction organised on Saturday to celebrate composer Santhosh Narayanan's birthday, answered questions of fans on social media. Answering a question about his unique style of singing and why he chooses to stick to it, he quipped saying, "I won't stop until people throw brickbats at me and scold me." He then went on to answer it seriously saying, "My singing sounds very similar to speaking at a normal pace, unlike rap. I wanted to make it a signature and used it in fun songs that have no meaning at all like S Madhu from Meyaadha Maan." 

Santhosh added that composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is a huge inspiration for his singing. "My singing is a derivative of Yuvan's style. Even lot of my compositions have a huge inspiration of his works."

Interestingly may be noted that both Yuvan and Santhosh had sung a song each for Anirudh in Vijay's Master. But they haven't collaborated with each other till now.
