Paresh Rawal shoots down death hoax

Actor Paresh Rawal has shot down rumours of his death circulating on the web. A Twitter page had shared his picture with a condolence message in Hindi. “Paresh Rawal ji, a member of the film industry has passed away at 7am on 14th May, 2021,” it read.

Sharing the screenshot, Paresh joked, "Sorry for the misunderstanding as I slept past 7 am!"

Earlier, actor Mukesh Khanna and singer Lucky Ali had also quashed their death hoaxes online.

Paresh Rawal’s upcoming film is Hungama 2, directed by Priyadarshan. The actor had played the role of Radhesham Tiwari, a rich businessman, in the 2003 original. The sequel also stars Meezan Jafri and Shilpa Shetty.
