Suriya, Karthi contribute one crore to the CM COVID-19 relief fund

Actors Suriya and Karthi met MK Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, along with their father Sivakumar, and donated one crore rupees to the CM relief fund. The fund is being collected for battling the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

It may be noted that the actors had contributed ten lakh for the COVID-19 relief of the FEFSI workers last year. 

On the professional front, Suriya was shooting for his next with Pandiraj and for his cameo role in TJ Gnanavel's film before the lockdown. He also has Vetrimaaran's Vadivasal in the pipeline.

Karthi, who was recently seen in Sulthan, has PS Mithran's Sardar, Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, and an untitled film with Muthiah in his kitty.
