Director Mahesh Babu is introducing two fresh faces — Sughosh and Hritika — in his upcoming directorial, Aparoopa. The romantic drama has story and dialogues penned by Manu Kalyadi, the director of Prarambha

Mahesh, who had announced the project in March 2019, has completed shooting the talkie portions. He recently shot a song in Kashmir. The director is now waiting to complete two more tracks to wrap up the entire film.

While Sughosh is a techie who has studied in the USA, Hritika is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer from a cinema background. She is the relative of noted Telugu actor Amani.

Mahesh shares that ego is the villain of Aparoopa. "Each time I cast new faces, I first evaluate their interest in acting and cinema. Being a dancer, Hritika was camera confident, Sughosh was also equally talented as he has been a part of few video songs. He just required a little training for the fight sequences."

The film has been shot in Bengaluru, Chikmagalur, Mysuru and Kashmir.

Apraroopa, which has music by  Prajwal Pai, has songs sung by Arman Malik and Puneeth Rajkumar. The film, bankrolled under the banner Mahesh's Suggi Cinemas, has cinematography by Suryakanth and co-stars Ashok and Avinash, Aruna Balraj and Dinesh Mangaluru.
