Director Avinash Das' web series Runaway Lugaai will premiere on MX Player on May 18. Produced by Aarrav Jindal, under his banner Euphoria Productions, the light-hearted show features Ruhi Singh, a former Miss India runner-up who was seen in Madhur Bhandarkar's Calendar Girls, and Naveen Kasturia, famous for Bose: Dead or Alive and TVF Pitchers. 

Set in central India, Runway Lugaai features Ruhi Singh as a happy-go-lucky girl named Bulbul, who runs away post her wedding, while Kasturia plays Rajnikant Sinha aka Rajni, who ends up as a victim in the hands of the corrupt system. Veteran actor Sanjay Mishra plays his father.

The series is directed by Vaninash Das, who has previously helmed Swara Bhaskar's Anaarkali of Aarah and Raat Baaki Hai, starring Anup Soni, and the series She. 

Runaway Lugaai also features actors Ravi Kishan, Aarya Babbar, and Chittaranjan Tripathy in key roles.
