Cinematographer-turned-actor N Nataraja Subramani aka Natty was recently seen as the antagonist Kannabiran in Dhanush-starrer Karnan. Natty's portrayal of the stoic, brutish police officer has won him appreciation, with many hailing his character as one of the best villains in recent times. An elated Natty took to Twitter to share the appreciative words of the veteran filmmaker. "I am not sure if I can sleep tonight. A few minutes back Iyakkunar Imayam Bharathiraja called me and said, 'What an amazing body language you have! Stunning performance! You are multi-talented. You're work in Karnan deserves more applause.' Thank you, teacher. I bow down to you," the actor wrote.

Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj, was released in April to critical acclaim and proved to be a box office success. The film is expected to make its streaming debut soon.
