It is speculated that Malayalam actor Rajisha Vijayan, who recently made her Tamil debut with the Dhanush-starrer Karnan, will be playing a pivotal role in an upcoming film directed by Gnanavel, known for helming the Ashok Selvan-starrer Kootathil Oruthan. The film will apparently feature Suriya in an extended cameo. However, an official confirmation is awaited regarding the film’s cast and storyline.

Bankrolled by Suriya’s production company, 2D Entertainment, the details surrounding the film are being kept under tight wraps. Sources close to the project say the shooting has been completed and the team is looking forward to making the news official once some semblance of normalcy returns with respect to the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Rajisha, who was also recently seen in the Malayalam film Kho Kho, will be sharing screen space with Karthi in Sardar, directed by PS Mithran. Suriya, on the other hand, is shooting for an untitled film directed by Pandiraj.
