First look of John David Washington's Beckett out

CE Features

John David Washington, who was last seen in Sam Levinson's Malcolm & Marie, will soon be seen in the Netflix thriller Beckett. In the first official image from the film released by Netflix on its social media platforms, the BlacKkKlansman-actor can be seen standing in, what appears to be, a subway with a bleeding arm.

From the first look, it is evident that Beckett will mark Washington's return to the action genre after Christopher Nolan's Tenet. According to Netlix, the film follows "a man ensnared in a violent conspiracy while vacationing in Greece," indicating plenty of action.

Directed by Ferdinando Cito Filomarino, Beckett also features Alicia Vikander, Boyd Holbrook, and Vicky Kriepsstar. The film will stream on Netflix this summer.
