The film was supposed to go on floors this year

A few months ago, it was announced that Pawan Kalyan and Surender Reddy would team up for a film. However, it now looks like this project has been put on hold owing to Pawan Kalyan's other commitments. The film was supposed to go on floors this year.

"Surender Reddy is not working on this film. While it's not shelved, the makers have put it on hold for some time as Pawan Kalyan is already juggling three other films and will also start working on Harish Shankar's film later this summer. The team felt that it would be nearly impossible to complete this film by the end of this year due to Pawan's busy schedule and have decided to suspend it," says a source.

The untitled film, dubbed PSPK 29, will be bankrolled by Ram Talluri under SRT Entertainments.

Surender Reddy, on the other hand, will soon commence the principal photography of his new film starring Akhil Akkineni. "Surender wanted to complete Pawan Kalyan's film before beginning Akhil's project. But, he will now complete Akhil's film on priority as the final draft is ready," the source adds.
