PGA Awards honours Irrfan, misspells his name

The name of Minari star Steven Yeun was also misspelt

Late actor Irrfan was among the 21 personalities remembered during the ‘In Memoriam’ segment of the 2021 Producers Guild of America (PGA) Awards. In a goof-up, the PGA misspelt Irrfan’s name as ‘Irrif Kahn’, reports state. The name of Minari star Steven Yeun, who was one of the presenters at the show, was also misspelt as ‘Steven Yuen’.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) Awards were held virtually on Wednesday. Besides Irrfan, the ceremony also paid tribute to Kirk Douglas and Chadwick Boseman. 

Irrfan passed away on April 29 in 2020. He had acted in the Hollywood movies Life Of Pi, The Amazing Spider-Man, Jurassic World, Inferno and others. His last release in India was Angrezi Medium (2020).
