American actor Jessica Walter, who is best known for her series Arrested Development, passed away on Thursday. She was 80. 

Her daughter Brooker Bowman, in a statement, said, "It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of my beloved mom Jessica."

Jessica Walter, a recipient of two Emmy Awards, was known for her performance in the films like Clint Eastwood's Play Misty For Me (1971) and Grand Prix (1996). She won her first Emmy Award for the mini-series Amy Prentiss (1974), and bagged her second award for cult sitcom Arrested Development

Walter was also known for voicing Malory Archer in the long-running adult animated series Archer.

“She was a force, and her talent and timing were unmatched. Rest In Peace Mama Bluth,” tweeted co-star Tony Hale.
