Actor R Madhavan has revealed he’s COVID-19 positive, a day after his 3 Idiots co-star Aamir Khan also came down with the virus.

Sharing his diagnosis on Twitter, Madhavan joked that this is one place they don’t want Raju (Sharman Joshi) in.

“Farhan HAS to follow Rancho and Virus has always been after us BUT this time he bloody caught up. BUT-ALL IS WELL and the Covid will be in the Well soon. Though this is one place we don’t want Raju in. Thank you for all the love. I am recuperating well,” Madhavan tweeted.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 3 Idiots was released in 2009. It followed a trio of engineering college students—Farhan, Rancho and Raju. The film’s antagonist, a strict college director played by Boman Irani, was nicknamed ‘Virus’.
