Aamir Khan tests positive for COVID-19

The actor is in self-quarantine and doing fine, his spokesperson said

Actor Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. 

In a statement, Aamir’s spokesperson shared, “Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”

Aamir is currently working on Laal Singh Chaddha, the Indian adaptation of Forrest Gump. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. 

Aamir had recently quit social media a day after his birthday. “Considering that I am SO active anyway I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before,” he had posted on Twitter and Instagram.
