67th National Film Awards: Imman wins his first National Award for Viswasam

Directed by Siva, and starring Ajith and Nayanthara in the lead, the film marked Imman's first collaboration with both Ajith and Siva

Composer D Imman has nabbed the award for Best Music Direction at the 67th National Film Awards. The composer has been awarded the National Award for his songs in the hit 2019 Tamil film Viswasam.

Imman, who had previously won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director, has grabbed his first National Award with Viswasam, which is his 104th film.

Directed by Siva, and starring Ajith and Nayanthara in the lead, Viswasam marked Imman's first collaboration with both Ajith and Siva. The film's soundtrack features seven songs and seven instrumental, karaoke, and theme songs. Imman had also lent his voice for the song Adchithooku.

Imman's upcoming lineup includes Annaatthhe, which sees him collaborating once again with Siva. He also has Suriya 40 in the pipeline.
