I will miss North East: Ayushmann Khurrana wraps up Anek

Ayushmann Khurrana has wrapped up his upcoming film, Anek. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film is a spy thriller shot in the North East. Ayushmann has collaborated with Anubhav Sinha for the second time after Article 15 (2019). 

The final portions of Anek were filmed in Delhi. Sharing pictures from the set, Ayushmann wrote on Instagram, “It’s a wrap! Anek is very, very special. It’s full of surprises. An untouched subject. A very important new age cinema. Why do I get emotional on the last day of shoot? Because I will never get to play that character again. I will miss playing Joshua. I will miss North East.”

Ayushmann’s last release was Gulabo Sitabo in 2020. He will also be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and Anubhuti Kashyap’s Doctor G
