Actor Rituparna Sengupta, known for contributions to Bengali cinema, stated on Monday that she has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor took to Twitter to post a series of tweets briefing that she is doing well and continues to adhere to protocols.

The National Award-winning actor, who was last seen in the 2020 Bengali film Bidrohini, is currently awaiting multiple releases in Bengali and Hindi, including Bansuri: The Flute, in which she shares screen space with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.
