Filmmaker Matt Reeves has revealed that the shooting of his upcoming superhero film, The Batman, has been wrapped up.

Penned by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the titular caped crusader. Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, and John Turturro play supporting roles of Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, Alfred, Penguin, Riddler, and Carmine Falcone, respectively.

The production of the film was affected multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including when Pattinson tested positive for coronavirus.

Reeves took to Twitter to announce that the production has been wrapped up.

Though there are no details about the film's plotline, Reeves had earlier hinted that it will shine more light on Batman's detective skills.

As of now, The Batman is scheduled to hit theatres on March 4, 2022.
