Shooting for the sixth season of Better Call Saul has begun in New Mexico. The series' co-creator Peter Gould took to social media to announce the news by sharing the image of a clapboard.

Better Call Saul is a spin-off of AMC's The Breaking Bad. The show, which premiered back in 2015, has been hailed as one of the best television dramas of all time.

The series stars Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman with other returning Breaking Bad stars including Jonathan Banks, and Giancarlo Esposito. Guest stars from the original series like Lavell Crawford, and Dean Norris have also been featured.

Notably, in a recent interview with Collider, Odenkirk stated that there is a possibility of a Walter White return in the series as well.

While the sixth season of Better Call Saul was scheduled to go into production in September 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused a delay.

Though plot details are scarce, it is expected that the season will follow Gene, the alias that Saul Goodman adopts when he moves to Omaha.
