It was earlier announced that Anirudh would be the composer for Karthik Subbaraj's upcoming film with Vikram and Dhruv Vikram. However, Santhosh Narayanan has now come on board the film tentatively referred to as Chiyaan 60. 

Announcing this on social media, director Karthik welcomed Santhosh on board, and thanked Anirudh for his "understanding and support."

The film, bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, goes on floors today. This project will mark the first time the father-son duo are working on a film together. 

Santhosh Narayanan is a frequent collaborator of Karthik Subbaraj's, having previously worked on films like Pizza, Jigarthanda, Iraivi, Mercury, and the upcoming Jagame Thanthiram. Interestingly, the only Karthik film that Santhosh did not work on was the Rajinikanth-starrer Petta, which had music by Anirudh. Chiyaan 60 will be the first Vikram film to have music by Santhosh. 

Meanwhile, Vikram also has Ajay Gnanamuthu's Cobra and Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan in different stages of production.
