First look of Vikram Prabhu's Taanakkaran out

Nedunalvaadai-fame Anjali Nair has been roped in to play the film's female lead

Vikram Prabhu's next is titled Taanakkaran. Produced by Potential Studios, the first look of the film was released earlier today. The poster features a clean shaved Vikram Prabhu in a khaki uniform.

Sharing the first look on his social media profile, the actor said, "Truly a tough script to shoot, physically and mentally demanding, but we had a team that worked together to achieve something special. Wishes to my entire team and as always, need your love and support."

Nedunalvaadai-fame Anjali Nair has been roped in to play the female lead in Taanakkaran that will be directed by Tamizh.

While the rest of the cast is yet to be announced, from the poster, it is confirmed that Ghibran will handle the music while Madhesh Manickam is in charge of cinematography. Philomin Raj of Master fame is on board as the editor. 

Meanwhile, Vikram Prabhu also has Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku and Mani Ratnam's multi-starrer Ponniyin Selvan in the pipeline.
