Christina Ricci to play the lead in Monstrous

Christina Ricci has been roped in for filmmaker Chris Sivertson's supernatural thriller, Monstrous. The script of the film has been penned by Carol Chrest. 

The story revolves around a traumatised woman fleeing from her abusive ex-husband with her seven-year-old son. Monstrous is bankrolled by Robert Yocum, Sasha Yelaun, B I Rosen and Johnny Remo. 

Ricci, who was last seen in the  American-Canadian-Indian biographical drama Percy, is equally famous for her voice roles in films like The Smurfs 2 and Teen Titans: The Judas Contract

Chris Siverton is known for his work in films like The Lost (as writer) and I Know Who Killed Me (as director).
