We had previously reported that director Lingusamy is collaborating with Ram Pothineni for his first Telugu film. It has now come to light that the Telugu-Tamil bilingual will star Krithi Shetty of Uppena fame as the female lead. Both Ram and Krithi will be making their Tamil debuts with this film. 

A source close to the film unit says that the film, tentatively referred to as Ra Po 19, will be an action film on the lines of Lingusamy's previous films. Produced by Chitturi Srinivasaa under Srinivasaa Silver Screen, it will reportedly be made on a big budget with high technical values.

Ram Pothineni was recently seen in Red, the Telugu remake of the Tamil film Thadam. Krithi Shetty, meanwhile, will next be seen in the Telugu films, Shyam Singha Roy and Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali.
