Actor Sri Lakshmi will next be seen in a family entertainer, Savitri W/O Satyamurthy. She plays the female lead and is paired opposite Parvateesam of Keritha fame. The film introduces Chaitanya Konda, a former associate of Puri Jagannadh, as the director.

The film tells the story of a woman who, in her sixties, ends up marrying a 25-year-old man. Appearing on screen after a hiatus, Sri Lakshmi says she is excited to be a part of this film which has a unique story.

"I have played a lot of versatile roles in the past, but this is something I have never done in my career spanning over four decades. Parvateesam, who should be playing my son, is my husband in this film. It's going to be a wholesome family entertainer that will leave the audience in splits," says Sri Lakshmi.

Produced by Gogula Narendra,  Savitri W/O Satyamurthy went on floors in Hyderabad today.
