Hansal Mehta's new film, an untitled action thriller, went on floors on Monday. Hansal shared black-and-white pictures of himself from the sets and wrote,  "Where the mind is without fear and the head is held High'. That is how it is to make a film with friends. @anubhavsinhaa."

The upcoming film is co-produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar. It is said to be a commercial outing with two newcomers.

Hansal's last feature offering was Chhalaang in 2020. He also helmed a season of the hit streaming series Scam 1992.

Speaking about his next venture, Hansal had previously told Cinema Express, "I was working on something that was supposed to start shooting in March (last year). But as you know, nothing could happen (during the lockdown). I'm hoping to start shooting again..."
