A biopic on the life of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao (PVNR) will be helmed by Dhavala Satyam, who has made films such as Erra Mallelu and Yuvatharam Kadilindi. Bankrolled by Tadivaka Ramesh Naidu, the film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, and will be dubbed into other regional languages.

There were reports that a top actor from the Hindi film industry is being considered to portray PV Narasimha Rao on screen. "A popular actor, who has won critical acclaim at the national level, will step into the shoes of PV Narasimha Rao. The pre-production works are in full swing and the principal photography will commence shortly," read a statement from the makers.

The makers are planning to release the film in several Indian languages on June 28, 2022.
