Nathan Fielder to headline HBO's The Rehearsal

The series is a part of the Fielder's one-year deal with HBO

Actor and comedian Nathan Fielder is set to star, write, and direct a new HBO original series, titled The Rehearsal. The Canadian actor, best known for co-creating Comedy Central's documentary-reality show, Nathan for You, will also be serving as an executive producer on the show.

The show's official logline reads, “In a world where nothing seems to ever work out as you had hoped, Nathan Fielder gives people the opportunity to rehearse for their own lives.”

The series is a part of the Fielder's one-year deal with HBO, which he entered in 2019. Christie Smith and Dan McManus will also be serving as executive producers through Rise Management.

Fielder's other well-known credits include The Disaster ArtistThe Simpsons, Rick and Morty, Bob’s Burgers, and Drunk History. He has also served as an executive producer on yet another HBO series, How To with John Wilson, which premiered last year.
