Sophie Turner joins cast of Jennifer Kaytin Robinson’s Netflix feature Strangers

Game of Thrones-fame Sophie Turner will appear in a cameo role in Jennifer Kaytin Robinson’s upcoming Netflix feature Strangers.

Strangers is a Hitchockian dark comedy headlined by Camila Mendes (Riverdale) and Maya Hawke (Stranger Things). The feature follows Drew and Eleanor who, after a clandestine meet-cute, team up to go after each other’s bullies.

Director Robinson is known for helming Someone Great and writing Thor: Love and Thunder. She has also written the script along with Celeste Ballard. The director is also producing with Anthony Bregman and Peter Cron for Likely Story under their overall deal with Netflix.

Meanwhile, Turner was recently cast in HBO Max’s limited drama series The Staircase. She is also part of the voice cast for HBO Max’s The Prince.
