Nayanthara commits for two films with Dream Warrior Pictures; SR Prabhu confirms

Nayanthara has signed a two-film deal with the production company, Dream Warrior Pictures, best-known for bankrolling films such as AruviKaithi, NGK, Raatchasi, and Sulthan. Producer SR Prabhu has confirmed the development, adding that the film's unit is planning to commence the shooting of the first film in July. Further details related to the film such as the cast and crew are expected to be formally announced in the weeks to come.

This marks Nayanthara's second collaboration with the production house, having appeared in the 2016-film Kaashmora, co-starring Karthi. Moreover, SR Prabhu has served as one of the producers of the Nayanthara-led horror film Maya in 2015 through Potential Studios.

Nayanthara was last seen in the Malayalam film Nizhal, and has Milind Rau's Netrikann, Rajinikanth-starrer Annaatthe, and Vignesh Shivan-directorial Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal in her pipeline. Meanwhile, SR Prabhu's upcoming productions include Vattam, starring Sibiraj and Andrea Jeremiah, and an untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual starring Sharwanand and Ritu Varma.
