Dhanush, Sekhar Kammula team up for a trilingual

To be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, the film will go on floors later this year

Dhanush will be joining hands with director Sekhar Kammula for a trilingual, the makers announced on Friday. Produced by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, the film will be shot and released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Interestingly, Dhanush is the second Tamil actor, after Vijay, to team up with a Tollywood director this year.

The untitled pan-India film is expected to have some of the biggest names of the Indian entertainment industry. The trilingual will go on floors later this year and the subject and the rest of the details will be announced soon.

It may be noted that the film will mark Dhanush's debut in Telugu and his fourth project in Hindi. 

Meanwhile, Sekhar Kammula is awaiting the release of his romantic entertainer Love Story, while Dhanush has multiple films in different stages of production, including D 43, Naane Varuven, a sequel to Aayirathil Oruvan, Atrangi Re, an untitled film with Ramkumar, and The Gray Man. His film Jagame Thandhiram is releasing on Netflix today.
