Omelette to skip theatres, opts for a television premiere

Director Venkat Bharadwaj's upcoming Kannada film, Omelette, produced by Saritha Omprakash and Prasanna Miapuram, and powered by ESamudaay, is set to skip a theatrical release, and premiere directly on television. The film will release on Colors Kannada Channel on July 9.

Incidentally, Omelette is the first Kannada film to be premiere directly on a satellite channel, skipping a theatre release. Apart from direction, Venkat has also written the story and screenplay.

The film stars Samyukta Hornad, Niranjan Deshpande, Shinav, Shobraj, Sharmitha Gowda, and PD Sathish Chandra. Viraj Kannadiga will be composing the music for the film, which has Chandan P on the background score, and Gururaj Desai writing the dialogues. Shiji Jayadev is handling the cinematography for the film.
