The shooting of Vishal's forthcoming film, tentatively titled Vishal 31, has resumed in Hyderabad on Monday. The Thupparivaalan-actor took to Twitter to announce the resumption of the film's filming. "We have resumed shoot for Vishal 31 in Hyderabad. It’s going to be a long schedule & will be wrapping the movie by July end. Shoot going on with all protocols being followed. Happy to be back at work," wrote Vishal, while sharing a making video from the film's shooting spot.

Directed by Thu Pa Saravanan in his feature film directorial debut, Vishal 31 stars Dimple Hayathi of Devi 2 fame as the female lead. The film, which has the tagline 'Not a Common Man', has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while Bala Subramaniem is handling the cinematography.

In addition to Vishal 31, the actor has Enemy, co-starring Arya, and Thupparivaalan 2, which marks his directorial debut, in his pipeline. It is also being speculated that Vishal will be teaming up with filmmaker Karthik Thangavel of Adanga Maru fame, but an official announcement is currently awaited.
