Akshay Kumar has rubbished reports of reducing his fees by Rs. 30 crore for Bell Bottom.

"What waking up to FAKE Scoops feels like!" Akshay tweeted on Monday. An entertainment portal had claimed Akshay reduced his fee after producer Jackie Bhagnani requested him.

Vashu also denied the reports, tweeting, “No Truth to this news at all."

Bell Bottom is an espionage thriller set in the 80s. The film was shot in the UK last year. Besides Akshay, it also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi.

Akshay’s other upcoming films are Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj and Atrangi Re.

Both Sooryavanshi and Bell Bottom were rumoured to release on Independence Day. However, Akshay had refuted such speculation in a statement.
