Aurora Perrineau onboard Westworld Season 4

Perrineau's other acting credits include the Netflix series When They See Us and Hulu’s Into the Dark

Actor Aurora Perrineau, best-known for playing the role of Shana Elmsford in the 2015 musical drama Jem and the Holograms, has bagged a recurring role in season four of HBO's Westworld. While her character is kept under tight wraps, it is being reported that Perrineau is set to star in at least five episodes.

Westworld is based on the 1973 film of the same name film written and directed by Michael Crichton. The third season of the sci-fi drama ended in May last year. The show stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandiwe Newton, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, and Ed Harris, among others. Vincent Cassell joined the cast in the third season as the main antagonist.

The show is created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who also serve as executive producers, along with Denise Thé, J.J. Abrams, Athena Wickham, Richard J. Lewis, and Ben Stephenson. 

Meanwhile, Perrineau was recently seen in the TV series Prodigal Son, and her other acting credits include the Netflix series When They See Us and Hulu’s Into the Dark
