Bhediya to resume shooting from June 2

CE Features

Varun Dhawan will resume shooting for Bhediya from June 26 following protocols. The rest of the film will be shot in Arunachal Pradesh. The makers had stalled production due to the shooting curbs amid the pandemic. Varun had returned to Mumbai in late April after the new lockdowns were announced.

"Shooting a movie during the pandemic has been extremely challenging but working under the leadership of Amar Kaushik has been one of the most exhilarating and satisfying experiences for me. Amar bhai chalo khelte hain. Was extremely lucky to shoot in a covid free town like Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh,” he had previously tweeted.

Bhediya is set for a theatrical release on April 14, 2022. It’s part of Maddock Films’ ongoing horror-comedy universe, preceded by Roohi (2021) and Stree (2018).
