Actors Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan are reportedly in talks to star in She Said, a film based on The New York Times' investigation of the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal. As per reports, Mulligan and Kazan will be playing Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, the writers of the book She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement.

In development at Universal Pictures, She Said chronicles Twohey and Kantor's pursuit to unravel the sexual harassment and assault allegations levied against Weinstein over the past two decades. German actor and filmmaker, Maria Schrader, best-known for directing the Netflix limited series Unorthodox, will be helming the film.

Based on the original screenplay by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, who also wrote the Academy Award-winning film Ida, the film is expected to enter production soon.

Meanwhile, Mulligan, who was recently nominated for an Oscar for Promising Young Woman will also be seen in Spaceman and Bradley Cooper’s Maestro. Likewise, Kazan, known for her roles in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs and The Big Sick, will be soon seen in a miniseries titled Clickbait.
