Alexis Ostrander, known for directing episodes of Netflix's Sweet Tooth and M Night Shyamalan's series Servant will direct a psychological thriller titled Delilah for Screen Gems.

Written by screenwriter Harrison Query and his writing partner Tommy Wallach, Delilah is said to be in the spirit of Gone Girl. Further plot details are yet to be revealed.

The film is produced by Scott Glassgold and his Ground Control Entertainment.

Notably, Glassgold and Query sold their Reddit-inspired horror pitch My Wife and I Bought a Ranch… to Netflix for over $1 million in July. The pitch is a story authored by Query’s brother, Matt Query.

Separately, Query made a big pitch sale in October with Heads of State, with Idris Elba and John Cena attached to star and Peter Safran producing. Other projects that are joined created by Glassgold and Query include a modern-day Three Musketeers and Incident at Fort Bragg.

Ostrander's Sweet Tooth was watched by 60 million member households since its launch on June 4 on Netflix. It stands at number 6 in the list of most-watched English-language original series. Ostrander's directing credits include Supergirl, Nancy Drew, Swamp Thing and Shadowhunters.
