Kriti Shetty signs a film each with Naga Chaitanya and Nithiin

Kriti Shetty, who made her debut with Uppena, continues to sign exciting projects. The actor, who is currently shooting for RAPO 19, has signed two mainstream films. The first on her slate is Bangarraju -- a sequel to Nagarjuna and Kalyan Krishna's 2016 blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana. Kriti will be paired opposite Naga Chaitanya, who plays the second lead in the supernatural drama.

She will also be seen in Nithiin's new film, which marks the directorial debut of editor SR Sekhar. "Both the films are completely contrasting in terms of genres and the interesting aspects of these films is its unique scripts. Kriti is always looking for films that allow her to experiment with genres and also pushes herself as a performer. She believes that both these films will show her in a new light," says a source.

Besides these films, Kriti will also be seen in Sudheer Babu's romantic entertainer Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali and Nani's Shyam Singha Roy.
