According to multiple sources, GV Prakash's Ayngaran will skip theatrical release and premiere on SonyLIV. If true, the film will join a long list of Tamil films that have been bought by the OTT platform in which Vaazhl released recently and Thittam Irandu will premiere on Friday. Ayngaran is speculated to stream on SonyLIV from August 13.

Directed by Ravi Arasu of Eetti fame, Ayngaran stars Mahima Nambiar as the female lead. The film also stars Kaali Venkat. Hareesh Peradi and Aruldoss. With GV Prakash himself composing the music, cinematography and editing are handled by Saravanan Abimanyu and Raja Mohammed, respectively.

Meanwhile, GV Prakash has films like Aayiram Jenmangal, Adangathey, Jail, 4G, Kadhalikka Yarumillai and Bachelor in different stages of production.
