Actor Yashika Aanand was involved in a road accident in the early hours of Sunday. The actress has reportedly suffered grievous injuries and is in a critical condition at a private hospital in the city.

Unfortunately, Valli Chetty Bhavani, a friend who was travelling with the actor died on the spot.

Yashika was said to have been travelling with a couple of other friends too. 

The Mahabalipuram police have registered a case and are investigating the accident. 

The news has shook fans and celebs alike who took to social media to share solidarity with the actor and express prayers for her speedy recovery.
