It is being speculated that actor Michael B Jordan will be working on a Black Superman project through his production house, Outlier Society. The project, which is reportedly in development at HBO Max, already has a writer on board.

According to Collider, the project will center on the Val-Zod incarnation of the character. While confusion prevailed over the format of the project, reports say that project is being developed as a limited series. Considering the project is still nascent, it remains to be seen whether Jordan will step into the shoes of the Last Son of Krypton.

Meanwhile, Jordan was last seen in Without Remorse and is also set to make his directorial debut with Creed III, which is currently slated for release on November 23, 2022. He will also appear as the lead in the drama, A Journal for Jordan, directed by Denzel Washington, set to release this December.
