Ari Aster's forthcoming directorial Disappointment Blvd, starring Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role, has welcomed new cast members on board. Parker Posey of Lost in Space-fame, Zoe Lister-Jones, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Denis Ménochet, Hayley Squires, and Michael Gandolfini have joined the cast of the film.

The shooting of the film began on June 28 and is expected to continue till October. The film's synopsis reads, "an intimate, decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time."

Further details are currently under tight wraps. However, going by Aster's previous films, the acclaimed horror films — Hereditary and Midsommar — it is being speculated that the filmmaker will continue his tryst with the genre.

Disappointment Blvd is being produced by Lars Knudsen via A24, the studio behind Aster's first two features.
