Kartik Aaryan joins forces with Hansal Mehta for Captain India

Kartik Aaryan will be teaming up with filmmaker Hansal Mehta for his next. Titled Captain India, the film was announced earlier today with a first look poster, which features Kartik in the uniform of an air force officer, with the cap covering his face. The film has the tagline 'an ordinary man, an extraordinary mission'. 

In a statement, Kartik said, "Captain India is inspiring and thrilling in equal measure and it gives me great pride and honour to be a part of such a historic chapter of our country. I have immense respect for Hansal Sir’s body of work and this was the perfect opportunity to collaborate with him.”

Produced by RSVP and Baweja Studios, the shooting of the film is expected to commence early next year.

Meanwhile, Kartik has the Netflix thriller Dhamaka and the horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in his pipeline.
