Actor Vimal, who was last seen in Kanni Rasi, is working on a project with Prasanth Pandiyaraj who made his directorial debut with the 2017 GV Prakash-starrer Bruce Lee.

Photos from the film sets have made their way online and they feature Vimal in a cop avatar. A source close to the unit says the film is based in Trichy where the team is currently shooting for the untitled project.

The film also stars Munishkanth and Bala Saravanan who were a part of Bruce Lee. The rest of the cast and crew details are expected to be released officially soon.

Meanwhile, Vimal has films like Enga Paatan Soththu, Shriya Saran, Manjal Kudai, Lucky, Kulasami, and Thudikarangal, in different stages of production.
