Merritt Wever onboard Midday Black Midnight Blue

Actor Merritt Wever has joined the cast of the upcoming American independent film Midday Black Midnight Blue. The news of her casting makes Wever the latest actor to board the indie, after Dale Soules, Shane McRae, Chris Stack, Will Pullen, and McCaleb Burnett. 

The film, which is directed by Samantha Soule and Daniel Talbott, reportedly follows Ian, played by Stack, who continues to mourn the demise of a woman two decades ago. What follows is a dark tale where with Ian on a part to relieve him from the grief.

Wever is a two-time Emmy winner, bagging the awards for Godless and Nurse Jackie. Her other acting credits in television include Run, The Walking Dead, and New Girl. On the film front, she was seen in Charlie SaysWelcome to Marwen, and Marriage Story.
