Sunny Leone has resumed shooting for her debut Malayalam film Shero. The actor shared a black-and-white poster of her seated in a car. It reads, "Sarah Mike. Begin her journey..."

"Finally resumed shooting for my South Indian movie SHERO. Working with some amazing people," Sunny wrote. 

Shero is a psychological thriller directed by Sreejith Vijayan. It's produced by Ansari Nextel and Kannan Ravikiran under the banner of Ikigai Motion Pictures. The film will release in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. 

Sunny had previously done a song appearance in the 2019 Malayalam film Madhura Raja, starring Mammootty. Shero will mark her full-fledged debut in Malayalam.
