Vijay Kumar, who gained fame for directing and acting in the Uriyadi franchise and penning the dialogues for Suriya's Soorarai Pottru, has begun shooting for his next. The yet-to-titled film is directed by his erstwhile assistant director Abbas.

Produced by Reel Good films, the action drama has Arsha playing the female lead. Apart from her, the film has actors like Shankar Das, Avinash and Karthikeyan. Leon Brito, who assisted cinematographer Ravi Varman, will be making his debut with the film. Kirubakaran and Vicky are the film's editor and stunt choreographer, respectively. 

The project has music by Govind Vasantha and the shooting schedule, which started today, is expected to proceed in Chennai for three months. 

It may be recalled that Bose Venkat announced his second directorial starring Vijay Kumar and Pasupathi in the lead last year.
