Actor Karunas who had played the lead in films like Dindigul Sarathy and Ambasamudram Ambani will once again be donning the hero's hat in a film titled Aadhaar.

Directed by PS Ramnath who had previously made Karunas' Ambasamudram Ambani (2010) as well as the Jiiva-starrer Thirunaal (2016) is directing this new film.

Aadhaar, which stars Riythvika as the female lead, went on floors today in Chennai. The film's cast list also includes Arunpandian, Dileep, Prabhakar and Manisha Yadhav. Bankrolled by Vennila Creations, the film will have cinematography by Manoj Narayan and music by Srikanth Deva.
